از اینرو، لازم است فکری به حال محافظه کاری و یا پرهیز از بررسی و موشکافی اشتباه ها شود. در نهایت، افراد برای تسهیم دانش، میلی به رفتارهای جامعه پسند ندارند. اشکال این امر میتواند به برجسته تر بودن نظام پاداش رسمی یا فقدان فرهنگ نوع دوستی و رفتار شهروندی سازمانی بازگردد. بنابراین، بهتر است با گنجاندن محرکهای نوع دوستانه تسهیم دانش در فرمهای ارزیابی عملکرد کارکنان (در کنار مشوقهای رسمی مادی)، این مشکل نیز مرتفع شود.
این پژوهش با چند محدودیت (مانند مقطعی بودن، انتخاب یک دانشگاه و یک منبع برای داده) مواجه است که تعمیمپذیری یافتهها را قدری مشکل میسازد. برای مطالعه هایآتی پیشنهاد میشود، از ابزارهایدیگری جهت سنجش تسهیم دانش و ابعاد سرمایه اجتماعی استفاده شود. تکرار این پژوهش در سایر دانشگاهها میتواند قدرت تعمیمپذیری یافتهها را افزایش دهد. سرانجام، طبق نظر برخی [2][37] بهتر است که در پژوهش دیگری، سرمایه اجتماعی متغیر وابسته و تسهیم دانش متغیر مستقل در نظر گرفته شوند.
