مطالعه حاضر بخشـی از طـرح مصـوب بـه شـماره
1901 معاونت پژوهشی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شاهرود بود که بدین وسیله محققین حمایت مالی و معنوی این معاونت و همچنین همکاری صمیمانه پرستاران محتـرم شـاغل درواحد دیابت بیمارستان امام حسین (ع) و بیمارانی که بدون همکاریشان ادامه این فعالیت علمی امکان پذیر نبـود را ارجمی نهند. مطلـوب تـری برخـوردار اسـت. تغییـر رویکـرد سـنتی بـه توانمندسازی در آموزش و مراقبت بیماران دیابتی می توانـدبا ایجاد بسـتر مناسـب، زمینـه سـاز بهبـود خـودمراقبتی و وضعیت سلامتی در بیماران دیابتی باشد (14).
توانمندسازی بیماران مبتلا به دیابـت بـه عنـوانیک برنامه مؤثر در راستای تغییر رفتار در مراقبت دیابت به شمار می آید (32). در این راستا نتیجه مطالعه طـل وهمکاران نیز مشخص کرد مداخلات آموزشی مبتنی بـرمیـزان توانمندسـازی بیمـاران دیـابتی، پتانسـیل ارتقـاءرفتارهای خودمدیریتی در کنتـرل مـؤثر بیمـاری را داراهستند (12) و توجه بـه مفـاهیمی ماننـد توانمندسـازیبیمــار در بهبــود نتــایج مــداخلات در ایــن بیمــاراناجتناب ناپذیر است (28). این اقدام از طریق آماده سازی، اطــلاع رســانی بــا اســتفاده از منــابع چندرســانه ای و تکنولوژی اطلاعات و ارتقا در برنامه هـ ای خودمـدیریتیدیابت میسر مـی گـردد (24). از طـرف د یگـر بـا ایجـادارتباط مناسب و هماهنگ، یک مشارکت راضی کننده در طرفین ایجاد می شود که نتیجه آن بهبود شـاخص هـایکنترل دیابـت، افـزایش خودکارآمـدی و ارتقـای سـطحرضایت مندی دو جانبـه مـی باشـد (11). بنـابراین تغییـررویکرد برنامه های مراقبتـی بـه سـمت توانمندسـازی وافزایش درگیر نمودن و مشـارکت بیمـاران در مـدیریتبیماری خود، می تواند با بهبـود شـاخص هـای بـالینی ووضعیت سلامتی همراه باشد.
